Shelves and Sheds/Laundry Racks
Peter Steady

A Washer and Dryer not side by side;
an old cast iron sink;
and no place to put the folded clothing or any of the
detergent, etc containers.
Sound Familiar ?

For starters you can't beat a slop sink as you can put
a good size pail under the faucet.
They are light in weight to carry and install, and reasonably priced.

Closet Maid (made in the USA) gets my vote for a rack system.
Once the 4 foot vertical brackets are attached to a vertical framing support member
or a concrete wall the rest is a snap together project.
Easily removed, the brackets and shelves can be arranged to the home owners wishes
without the need of a tool.
The plastic coated open wire mesh is easily kept clean
and aids in the drying process if something is placed on the shelf
in a damp condition.

There is also a need to raise the washer off of the floor
so that one does not have to stoop over to load and unload.

And we'll do something with the floor too !
